Hello!

Welcome to our traveling blog, a place to share our exciting adventures and let you see how we do it as a family!  And sometimes as a couple only, since we need that time to unwind and reconnect. Regardless of the dynamic of the trip, I want you to be able to find new tips, tricks and trade secrets to help you better plan your next trip! 

I have always had a love of travel, even briefly toying with the idea of becoming a flight attendant while in college. Instead I pursued a hospitality degree in event management, eventually falling into a marketing and sales role in the travel industry. I worked in the booming Orlando tourism market for 10+ years with a local giant and feel very fortunate to have the experience I did.  It was what ultimately landed me here, wanting to help others do what we love doing - TRAVELING! And showing you that it is possible with kids, just leave the planning to me. 

I was lucky enough to find someone that had the travel bug as much as I did, who has explored a little bit more of the world than I have, and who has an excitement to immerse ourselves in experience. When we started a family, we said the one thing we wouldn't change about "us" when children came along was our love of travel.  And that has been something we strive to embed in our children; the desire to explore new places, the curiosity to learn about different cultures, and the want to have experiences more than things. 

So here we are, seven+ years into this travel-with-kids thing and we feel we've got a true knack for it.  We have found the flexibility to change our plans when needed and make the best of unfortunate situations, even with little ones in tow.  We are always learning through this, but what we already know is how wonderful it truly is to have a few extra sidekicks along the way!  Everything you'll find in here are our personal experiences, along with pictures I have taken, to tell the story of our travels.  And I hope you can feel our true joy expand through the screen as I share the stories we have had (and will have) exploring this great big world ... and finding adventure somewhere!

If you're teetering on the idea of traveling with (or without kids), do it ... now!  There's no better time than the present and you'll find the experiences they gain will stick for a lifetime. Most importantly, if you don't have the confidence to plan it on your own, that's what I'm here for!  I'm detail oriented and have a tenacity to find fun in anything. And I'd be more than happy to make a dream trip your vacation reality.
